Drink lots of water, treat yourself with loving kindness and get a good night’s sleep.
Over the next few days or weeks, observe how things have changed. You may notice subtle or remarkable changes, but change can also occur without you being conscious of it. Over time, the change is cumulative, so you may look back and be unable to remember what your old way of thinking and being was like.
I encourage my clients to pay attention to what comes up. You may find old fears rise to the surface, you may encounter challenging situations, and you may notice some resistance to the change. These are natural reactions and can be resolved as we continue our work together. Remember awareness is the first step in creating deep change.
