Finding the Magic Wand

Finding the Magic Wand

Since the day 20 years ago I found out that my daughter, Marlee, had tuberous sclerosis, a genetic disorder that occurred spontaneously, I began looking for the magic wand that would make everything better. I sought out the best doctors in the world. I did research on her condition and on all of the possible treatment options that were available anywhere in the world. I met the scientists who were the pioneers in research in the hopes of giving her better options. I bought every educational toy possible in the hopes that the right toy would change everything. She had numerous surgeries, some that were medically necessary to save her life and others that were elective in the hopes of a better quality of life. Medications were prescribed and piled on, one on top of the other. All of this was done to address her cognitive and physical challenges and delays, seizures, GI problems, diabetes, and behavioral issues…and more. When I discovered that Western medicine, while amazing in what it did have to offer, was limited, I sought out alternative options like cranial sacral therapy, energy work, homeopathy, and naturopathy. I knew there had to be something that would provide Marlee with relief from the constant barrage of symptoms and our family with hope for a better life.

Fourteen months ago, I was led to Theta Healing, what I now refer to as the magic wand. I was open to working with a woman who practiced Theta Healing when someone mentioned her a day after Marlee’s neurologist recommended an invasive and risky surgery that he thought would be her best option. However, the option of surgery provided no guarantees. A year later, after being worked on by multiple Theta healers, Marlee has had significant improvement in her cognition, her physical abilities, her behavior, her seizure disorder, and the amount of medication that she takes has been drastically reduced. Our family unit has healed dramatically as well. We enjoy the time we spend together, we travel together, and we have experienced beautiful moments recently white water rafting down the Gallatin River in Montana, riding on wave runners on Lake Lanier in Georgia, and exploring the streets of New York City. Marlee, her 22 year old sister, Alyssa, and I are now able to focus on enjoying our lives.

For our family, Theta Healing has truly been a magic wand. I remember preparing for Marlee’s appointments and hoping that the professionals would see that Marlee had suffered enough and pull out the magic wand. They never did. Not because they didn’t want to, but because they didn’t have one. Theta Healing has allowed for many of the miracles I had hoped for to occur. At Marlee’s Individualized education planning meeting in May, the entire team of teachers, therapists and paraprofessionals working with Marlee reported on what an amazing year she had at school. Marlee had come closer to achieving her goals than they had ever seen. Later that month, Marlee had an appointment with her neurologist at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. Her neurologist has been working with Marlee for 14 years. After reviewing the medication she was taking and commenting on how little medication she was on, going over her EEG and evaluating her abilities, her neurologist stated “Her EEG has improved and she looks the best I have ever seen her in terms of alertness and abilities, what are you doing for her?” I told him we were doing Theta Healing with her. At that point, he wanted to know what that entailed and how it worked and whether it could help him with some issues he was having. Her endocrinologist was equally impressed when he saw her around the same time commenting that she looked the best he had ever seen her.

I fell in love with Theta Healing when I saw what was possible. I have spent the last 14 months studying, practicing and teaching it, achieving my Theta Healing Masters last month and expecting to achieve my Theta Healing Certificate of Science next month. My experience as a lawyer and on the journey to help Marlee has helped me to see the value in what I have chosen as my life’s path. I did not think it was possible to have the life that we now have. While I never gave up hope, I never allowed myself to dream of a life filled with joy and love and beautiful experiences. Now, every single day, I experience, witness and observe miracles. That’s why I see Theta Healing as the magic wand I had been looking for. I now know that instantaneous healings are possible. I also firmly believe, know and expect to discover and instantaneously change subconscious beliefs that are blocking healings from occurring and limiting our ability to live the lives we desire.

I know that my part of my journey is to bring this to other people. I not only have observed the miracles that my family has experienced every single day but I have experienced the same with others that I teach and work with. I recently sat high on a cliff overlooking a beautiful and powerful waterfall in Mesa Falls, Idaho and allowed myself to meditate and reflect on my life going forward. I heard the words Beacon of Hope and I immediately resonated with that because I knew firsthand just how hard it was to hold onto hope when our lives seemed so hopeless. I am sharing this because I know that my reason for being here is to help anyone who is open to allowing healing into their lives so that they too can experience the miracles that we have experienced and hold the magic wand in their own hands as well.
